Hi, my name is Miss Tricia. I'm so excited to be working with your family and child! I have been an Early Childhood Educator since 2002. After working in the field for six years I decided to obtain my Infant & Toddler certificate.
I had the pleasure of working on the lower mainland for ten years where I was able to be part of many wonderful centers. I decided to move to Kelowna in 2012 where my husband and I met and married. In 2014 we had our daughter Amelia!
After being a part of helping to opening some of the larger center's in Kelowna, I decided to venture out and open my own little center in my home. This past summer my family and I relocated to Vancouver Island. We have found a new home for Little Hands Learning Center Ltd and will be located in beautiful Cherry Creek. I have a passion to teach our youngest learners some of the most important aspects of growth and development through those little hands.

Early Childhood Education Center Philosophy
Little hands everywhere!!! At Little Hands Early Childhood Education Learning Center it is our belief that little hands are involved in all aspects of learning and growing. Children use their little hands to explore their surrounding environment. With the stroke of a little hand, a beautiful creative art experiences come to life. Little hands sit in wonderment as a child sits mesmerized with colorful pictures as the words on the page come to life through their imagination. Fancy gloves cover little hands that pick up a teapot that has been brewing on a kitchen stove in the house keeping area as one child serves another some tea for teatime. Pencil is put to paper as little hands discover that a line down creates a letter for the first time.
At little hands early childhood education center your child will have the opportunity to foster their growth and development through their little hands. It is our mission to help mold your child into their own unique caring individual as they learn and grow with their own individual experiences.
It is our goal to provide a balanced preschool program that includes both an academic component to build on their cognitive skills and play based early learning experiences. We believe that children thrive in an preschool environment where there will be a set learning time and a time where children can use those little hands to build on their communication with peers, gain self-confidence skills in social & emotional setting and build a positive self-worth in their setting.
At Little Hands Early Childhood Education Center we will do our very best to make your child feel the most comfortable in our care, so their surrounding preschool environment is the next best thing to home!
